Event: East/West Matagorda Bay

Trip Description: We are going to Matagorda Nov 14- 16, 2025! Epic time to be in the East or West Matagorda bays system. We want both Boat and Yak’s, TFF will rent a house for Fri and Sat nights which will be 10 mins from Matagorda Harbor boat launch and 5 min from two Yak launch spots.
I have enlisted Ron Ridgeway of Matagorda Loops guiding services, to come by and give a “Casting to Redfish” and maybe some targeted HOT spots, both boat and Yak. Matagorda is an easy 1.5 hr. drive from West Houston!! This can either be a day outing or Overnight for the Weekend.
The housing cost for the two nights will be divided up between the 8 beds, on a first come first serve. Including food Friday dinner & Sat breakfast & dinners and bed, cost approx. – $130 to $150. /Person
This house is on the Colorado river, so night fishing is on the schedule & maybe ad in some Fly Tring and is well appointed for having a Great weekend with some best people on the TEXAS Coast.

If you want to go ALL IN, a couple of guys could always book Ron Ridgeway, to get an even greater induction into what “I Live and Breath!!!

We are two weeks out from our Matagorda TFF Saltwater outing.
We have one space/bed left for the weekend. This will be a Fun time, Rain or Shine, so come prepared for any weather scenario!
So, this is what is included by TFF
1. Two nights at our house (yellow) in Matagorda -38 St Mary’s Slough or google private road 670 (behind Snapper Bar off beach rd. FM 2031) Linen & towels etc. Check in 3 pm and check Out 11 am -it’s a Rental! if want details, go to Full Stringer Rental in Matagorda
2. Dinner Friday & Sat
Preliminary Friday Happy Hour Cheese board
Dinner -Salad, Chicken Tetrazzini, veg and dessert
Sat – Happy Hour – Cheese Board
Dinner salad, TBD, veg and dessert
3. Breakfast Sat & Sun Fruit & sweet rolls
4. Water bottles for the house

2. Friday afternoon approx. 4 :00 pm we have Ron Ridgeway of Matagorda Loops Guide service (club Member) coming by the house and giving us “Casting Refresher” and how to fish Matagorda in November! He may say for Happy Hour and dinner
