The 2017-2018 GRTU Guadalupe River leases are now on sale. They are limited to 750 total leases. There are several changes to the program listed on their site: http://www.grtu.org/
Remember, most of the river banks are private property. If you want access to the better spots on the river, the LAP is really the way to go.
Go to http://www.grtu.org/membership-signup/ to enroll.
I haven’t wet a line in Clear Lake since I was a kid in Webster back in the early 1970s. I’m thinking about taking the kayak there Saturday, if the weather is conducive. Anyone interested in going? Also, does anyone have any tips on the area? Back in my youth, I fished off the point where the Nassau Bay Hilton is now, but that is completely changed.
I’m thinking about taking the kayak & 8 wt down to Ernie’s Too on Sunday morning and seeing if anything is going on in Christmas Bay. If anyone is interested in meeting up, let me know.

LaWe have been invited by our friends down in the RGV to their tournament at South Padre Island September 10th. I personally will be heading down either Thursday night or Friday morning with my boat. The LMFF are a great group of guys. I highly recommend the trip!
Whoever is taking over the Saltwater Outings Chair will need to find an outing leader for the Port O’Connor One-Fly in July as well as outing leaders for the remainder of the year.
