Postings about Texas Parks and Wildlife Angler Education events around the State of Texas
Have you discovered the Texas Parks and Wildlife Leased River Access program? This program allows Texas anglers and paddlers to travel through specific areas on private property to get to a river. You can look up the location in a river system, find the requirements and procedures for each location, find campsites where available, download a printable map if desired, check the stream flow and FISH!
For details on the program and details to private property providing access click the link above (click on “Leased River Access”).
River Access and Conservation Areas are currently funded by a combination of sources including donations from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation, a grant award from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Sport Fish Restoration Program, and sales of the Texas Rivers Conservation License Plate.
