The COVID-19 is still rampant, we are watching, but done waiting. Restrictions have eased here in Texas. We still need to practice good sanitary practices, but we have now been able to schedule our event. 20th June, 2020.
This will be THE Family Friendly Fishing Event of 2020.

9 members showed up to chase the white bass up the creek.
Sinking fly lines or sinking flies were the ticket to hooking fish. Most of the fish were on the small side with only a few dozen over 10". The run just hasn't started yet.
The further we went upstream the clearer the water became. I think this has a bit to do with the powerboats that come into the area. Once you get past where the bigger boats can reach, the water cleared up nicely.

The weather guessers got it wrong again. The rain started before sunrise and chilled the air long before we got on the water. The temp never did get above 50°F.
