Trip Description:

Entry to Marshes – The nearby marsh should be filled with redfish and trout and even large black drum for those who wish to go on a Texas sleigh ride!

Straight out from the marina launch then left into the marsh 1/3 mile. This is where I plan to fish.

Take a right (half circle) from the launch and stay to the right side on the intercoastal .5 to 1.5 miles

Cross the intercoastal directly across from the marina and going NNE 1 mile (Yates Cove) or another marsh entry .7 miles further.

  1. 240 miles driving yesterday took 7-1/2 hours. A major wreck on I-10 (792) closed the highway, making the trip to Bolivar 4-1/2 hours. The trip back, I-10W, had a cleanup crew from a truck loosing it’s load. Another 3 hours.
And no fish came to hand.
