Monthly Speaker-October 29, 2019; John Eldred, Fly Fishing for Big Rainbows in Jurassic Lake, Patagonia Argentina

At the Tuesday, October 29, 2019 monthly meeting of the Texas Fly Fishers, TFF Vice President, John Eldred, will share details and pictures from a 2018 fishing expedition for big rainbows in Jurassic Lake, Patagonia Argentina. The picture presentation will cover the journey to get there, the accommodations and terrain, and of course lots of fish pics. A “once in a lifetime” fishing experience. http://estancialagunaverde.com/

John moved to Houston in 2014 after 30+ years living in Alaska.  He has embraced “warm water fishing”, both freshwater and saltwater.  An active member of the TTF of Houston club, he currently is the “Outings Chairman”, and is welcome to any and all ideas for unique (or not) fishing experiences.

So, if you are interested in learning more about the fly fishing world, if you are interested in watching some fly tying before the meeting or are just interested in socializing with a friendly group of fly fishing men and women come to the October 29, 2019 monthly meeting.  We would be glad to have you and look forward to seeing you at the meeting.

That sounds incredible… Not a fly fisherman but I’ll definitely share with the fans on Twitter and the Facebook 4K fishing group! Watching the “Fly Tying” demos would be well worth it for those in Houston! To great weather!
