Texas FlyFishers of Houston Event:  Nueces River outing Changed to Harmon Creek Day trip

Trip Description: Launch your kayak or other small craft and move upstream in the search for the spawning white bass.

How to get waiver forms: Required  Waiver of Liability, filled out and signed, along with emergency contact information.  The Link to the form

Other:  Possible to spend the night before  (on your own)….To be determined.  Carpools may also be set up.  In any case, you need to pack food and water for the water.

  1. Talked to Walter R. yesterday and he tells us that the water is high, not giving the white bass a place to “hole up”. He told us also that the river in his area that is holding fish is not very kayak friendly. I suggest moving this to Harmon Creek. We can still find fish, and no need for lodging.
