If you’ve wanted to learn about fly fishing in Texas, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced fly fisher from other parts of the country, Texas FlyFishers’ Summer Fly Fishing Expo is a great way to spend part of your Saturday.

- Fly Tying Demonstrations and Instruction
- Displays and presentations on various facets of fly fishing
Featured presentations:
10am – Capt. Steve Soule’ presentation on fly casting for saltwater fishing
11:30am – Kevin Hutchinson – Fly fishing the Texas Hill Country. Focus on San Marcos and Llano Rivers.
1:00pm – Greg Corbett fly tying presentation where Greg will cover the joys of finding treasures at the hobby and fabric stores. A favorite is “how to recycle beer cans”.
2:30pm – Retired Texas Parks and Wildlife biologist, Jim Dailey will talk about the Texas coast covering West Matagorda Bay to Port O’Connor.
