Speaker-Monthly Meeting, April 25, 2023; Joe Nicklo-Fighting and Landing Fish

This months speaker, for the Tuesday, April 25, 2023 monthly meeting, will be long time club member Joe Nicklo. Joe is an innovative fly tyer, a skilled rod builder, a gifted photographer and an experienced fly angler. Joe is in all probability the most experienced angler in the club and has probably hooked and landed as many fish as anyone around. He has been a fly shop owner and continues to be an energetic and creative fly angler. Having fought, landed and lost many fish over the course of his fly fishing years, he has developed techniques which increase the odds of a fly angler who has hooked a fish to successfully get it to the net. So, come on out to the meeting and listen as Joe shares these fish fighting and landing techniques. Additionally, as audience participation and panel discussion will be encouraged, bring your questions and fish fighting knowledge to share with the program’s audience.

There is no charge for admission and all are welcome at the meeting. Joe is not only an experienced angler and fly tyer he is also a very personable individual. You will not want to miss this presentation.
