The 2025 TFF sponsored Trout in the Classroom project got started this month, with all eggs safely delivered before the cold weather hit. This year we have tanks in the following schools:

• Katy HS – two tanks
• Seven Lakes HS
• Westbury HS
• B. F. Terry HS
• Fulshear HS
• Foster HS
• George Ranch HS
• Randle HS
• Lamar Consolidated HS
• Lamar Special Sites
• Pasadena Memorial HS
• Barber’s Hill Middle School

As usual, the program will run from now until late April/early May when the young fish will be released into the TU managed section of the Guadalupe. All fish are rainbow trout this year, from a hatchery in the Pacific Northwest. If anyone has any questions about the program, or would like to help out with future activities, please let me know!
