Q and I decided that we just had to get out on the water, and do a little fishing. Most of our favorites were rained out, or muddy, so we decided that Damon 7 Lakes was just the ticket.

Matt had moved the john boat over to another, smaller, lake which was perfect for blocking the expected wind. For the first hour the catch rate was very low (zero) until we found feeding fish.

And it rained. Multiple times.

Bluegill, redear, and LMB came to hand.
