5 weeks without fishing, due to an injury. I am ready to at least try using a fly rod. I plan to be at Damon 7 Lakes at noon on Thursday, 2023-12-21. I’m limited to shoreline fishing for a few more weeks, but feel the need to throw a fly. The weather is supposed to overcast, according to the weather guessers, but warm.
$35 guest fee for any that feel the need to at least throw a fly in December.
Bring a camp chair, snacks, and plenty of water.

I might join you but depends on how my wife is feeling. She’s had a cold (not covid fortunately). I’ve been fine and fishing sounds great. I have two very stable pedal fishing kayaks that I could bring. If you feel up to sitting in a beach chair type kayak seat and doing a little pedaling.
I plan to just walk around. Next time, I’ll be able to use watercraft. Bring one for your use, and I’ll point you towards some good areas. It’ll be good to have folks out on the water.
