Report: Mon, Feb 20, 2023, Harmon Creek Day trip

5 anglers made the event, and at 0800 the travel upstream began. Within 200 meters of the launch point the first white bass was landed (Eric). Before the day had ended there were over 100 fish landed, and we travelled 6.7 kilometers on the water.

    • LMB
    • Yellow bass
    • Guadalupe
    • Freshwater drum
  • Flies that worked
    • Electric chicken Clouser
    • Foxy Clouser
    • Cowen’s Coyote
    • Coyote Closer
    • White bendback
  • Where we found fish
    • Upstream in pockets of deeper water
    • Downstream of “Brighty Blue” which has now been removed
  • How big were the fish?
    • Most were smallish males, with the occasional female mixed in.
