At the Tuesday, October 25, 2022 monthly meeting of the Texas Fly Fishers, Mac (Macala) Elliott https://www.macelliottmedia.com will be making a presentation about photography and media production in the fly fishing and outdoor world.
In that regard, Mac was born and raised among the natural splendor of the Texas coast and with a passion for wilderness and wildlife, she has devoted her craft to capturing the vivid and scenic beauty of Texas and the world. She is a graduate of Baylor University, The Nashville Film Institute, The University of Houston: (Summa Cum Laude), Valenti College of Communication: Bachelors of Media Production, and Bauer College of Business: Minor in Marketing; Cert. of Corporate Entrepreneurship.
In 2021 she embarked on a new fly fishing media project, “Twin Fly Productions,” alongside her twin brother and currently serves as the American Fly Fishing Trade Association’s social media intern.
Mac has been published on social media and in print by Canon USA, Texas Monthly, Texas Highways, Strung Magazine, the Fly Fish Journal, In The Loop Magazine, Tail Fly Fishing Magazine, On the Fly Magazine and CCA’s Tide Magazine. There is no charge for admission and all are welcome at the meeting. Mac is not only an experienced photographer but is also passionate about the fly fishing world. You will not want to miss this presentation.
