South Llano River; Status of Application to construct a dam and reservoir on the South Llano River

At the June 14, 2022 Kimble County Commissioners  Court regular monthly meeting, County Judge Delbert R. Roberts and Commissioners adopted Resolution 2022-07 requesting TCEQ deny the application by Waterstone Creek LLC or hold a public hearing to allow citizens and property owners to voice their opinions on this issue.

  1. When can concerned citizens comment or sign a petition supporting the Kimble commissioners? I would support a private company subverting a valuable asset if 1) water from flooding could protect if the reservoir was a retention pond, 2) Kimble county citizens regulated outflow, 3) the cost of using the reservoir for the citizens of Texas was $1.00.
    4) no downstream damage during construction or operation.
