Bidding will start in November, but we are looking for donations in preparation, and help with setting up the website.

  1. The visual of the books listed are not clear enough to easily see the author’s name. The Gierach books will become collectors items since he passed away during the past year. Great writer.

    • Good idea. Good pictures of the item is a must. However, the first thing we need to do is an inventory, just making sure we have the items listed on hand. We copied the previous auction as a start point.

  2. 2 comments. Have minimum bids on the big ticket items. There’s no reason that a big ticket item should be taken in the end by small increments. For a trip, for instance, $100 should be the minimum. For a big trip, $250. Second, if prize pickup is at members houses, have someone central, not just in the suburbs. I’ll be glad to volunteer.

    • Neal, we could use some editorial help with the setting up. And we like to decentralize the deliveries of the items, making it easier to deliver.
