Kevin and I pre-fished the Colorado River at Bastrop yesterday. The river level is pretty low but still fully navigable. The water is cool, but the clarity is not great. We caught about 25 bass on a 6 hour float. No great size to the fish but still feisty. Early forecast next week is for rain, so we will have to wait and see what effect that might have.

By next Tuesday meeting, we will make a final decision on “go or no go.” Either way, I will notify the people who have signed up. Go to the 1st Notice post on this subject for explanation on how to sign up.
