Texas FlyFishers volunteers are needed to man the Bass Pro Shop Fishing Classic event this Saturday, February 20 at the Pearland and Katy stores. Casting and fly tying demonstrators are needed.

Weekend Agenda
Pearland – Sat. Feb 20 (Kids Weekend of the Fishing Classic)
9 or 10 am to 6 pm outside the store. They anticipate setting up two tables outside for TFF information on one end and our outings/educations information and a station for a fly tier to tie wooly booger to demonstrate fly tying and give flies to parents of kids. They would also be excited if we could bring a couple of the demo rods with yarn fly line to demo casting to the kids or interested beginners.
The TFF tier has to bring vise and tools.
Katy Mills– Sat. Feb 20
9-10 am at the pond in front of the store providing casting lesson to anyone who shows up. Their instructor cannot be there that Saturday. It is not off-limits to talk about TFF, equipment they sell, or even lessons you or someone else does privately. The objective is to build relationship and let them know we can volunteer to help them.
2-4 pm One person from TFF tying flies at a small table inside the store (by the fly shop and entrance from the mall )with some TFF brochures/Literature. The TFF tier has to bring vise and tools.
