Please remember that the Lavaca River outing is this Saturday 2/21, this is my first time!!

We have a great crew going 3 Yaks and 2 boats

Both Boats have room for one person, if you are interested call or email for connection.

The Plan is at launch between 7 -8 am   sunrise 6:56am  – FM 616  boat ramp as it crosses Lavaca River   28.83761 – 96.576589 This is between Lolita and Lasalle on 616

Its going to be beautiful weather 70 -75deg. , a little breezy.so bring a spinning rod as Default.

As per our Expert Scott F

I typically use intermediate line and a full sink.  In warm weather a floater replaces the full sink.

Sink tip will also work.

Last week w/51F water, they were 2-4 ft deep.

If all you have is a floating line, it’s ok.  Use a longer leader to get fly deeper.

And use weighted flies.

I do various countdowns to try and find fish at different depths.
