Trip Description: We will join the Laguna Madre Fly Fishing Association for their Annual Magoo Fly Fishing One (1) Day Tournament. This is a CPR event.

July 3, 2019 UPDATE from John Eldred:
The current plan is to travel to Harlingen on Friday, overnight at a local Harlingen hotel on Friday. Registration is at Pendleton Park in Harlingen from 6-9pm. Local LMFFA are being encouraged to “stick around” the registration for a bit of socializing. At registration, you will get an “item” to put in the pictures of your fish for proof of catch.
Saturday fishing will be 6am – 3pm. A Saturday night awards ceremony and dinner will be held in San Benito starting at 6pm. My suggestion is to overnight again on Saturday, and return to Houston on Sun. I (John E) may do an early Sunday kayak fishing trip, then drive back to Houston at noon or so. (~5 hr from Harlingen to Houston)
