Sabine River, generation canal. I've checked the generation schedule and weather for Monday, 2020-08-10, and both are looking good. I'm waiting on a fishing report from Crawford before pulling the trigger and making the trip. I plan to launch my kayak at the "improved" boat launch and fish from the "no-go" wire down to the washtub.
We will take four-wheel drive vehicles down Padre Island National Seashore during the anchovy migration, and target blitzing schools of ladyfish, jacks, redfish, and tarpon.
This little guy was caught on the shoreline of a local pond. He and his brothers are targets for the predators. Match the hatch!
"Due to the incoming tropical depression forecast for this Saturday along with the increased probability of lightning, I feel that it is in our best interest to cancel/postpone the event. We can revisit later in the year and perhaps reschedule then." MFQ 2020-07-22-0900

Nilo has been busy listing even more. There are milk crates of books in storage that have been donated over the years. From what I can guess there are probably a thousand, or so, books. Sitting in storage does no good for our coffers, or your library.
Since the auction has been postponed, we are looking at other opportunities to use these books, that have been donated over the years, as an additional source of income for our club.
The plan is to sell the books and have the proceeds go into the Texas FlyFishers' funds, directly befitting our club, and you.
