Fly Fishers International (FFI) has been going through a major transformation over the last two years. As part of that transformation, Patrick Berry was hired as the President and CEO of Fly Fishers International. Patrick is a dynamic speaker with a long history of fly fishing – he was a self-proclaimed ‘trout bum’ and profession fly tier for several years. Patrick has a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Montana and is the former Commissioner of the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department. Patrick lives in Montpelier, Vermont, with his wife and children.
Patrick will present on the transformation of FFI and all of the new and on-going conservation, education and community efforts at FFI. He is also at the front of FFI’s efforts to include ‘all fish, all waters’ for fly fishers around the world. Please join us as Patrick shares the vision of FFI and how it will affect and benefit fly fishers here in the Houston area and around world.
So, if you are interested in learning more about the fly fishing world, if you are interested in watching some fly tying before the meeting or are just interested in socializing with a friendly group of fly fishing men and women come to the January 28, 2020 monthly meeting.
