Would you be willing to be a Fishing Buddy for the Youth or Senior Members? Yes, There is program called “Casting for Kids” all over America,, I’m a fishing instructor volunteer. This is sponsored program by local business. Working with the group here in Victoria.. Our Club could start a program called “Fly Casting For Kids” Have a program set up with Damon 7 lakes for kids to come out an learn on the water, Fly Casting and how to catch fish on a fly. I have taught my granddaughter and grandsons how to fly cast and how to catch fish on a fly.. They a good job in casting and catching fish. Interested kids will learn. Like golf if you like it, you will learn.
Tell us what you would like to see for 2020: More active members, more boat Owner’s, large group outings like we used to have. Not talking about Damen 7 lakes either.

Places to Fish/Outings:
Laguna Madre, Port Mansfield, Sabine Lake, East Matagorda Bay, Louisana Marsh. When was the last time we put an EVENT outing together for Port O’Connor. How about our Board spending some of the club’s money on some better prizes instead of asking our local fly shops to donate or give big discounts so we can have the opportunity at winning some plastic fly bobbers…oh yeah those are “Strike Indicators” or you can win some TFF stickers, or a thread bobbin! Yep let’s see how many folks show up for a meeting if you advertise that we are going to have a 300.00 reel up there on the table. Or a guided trip!
Things you don’t know and want to learn:
How to cook John Purcell’s paella. How to get the other 90% of the clubs members to get active with the club.
How can we make “Our” club better, What would you like to see?
New location for monthly meetings that serves adult refreshments. More centralized location.

Not sure what this means I’d guess everywhere there is a spot for conservation.
