Trip Description: This is a pure recon trip.  I have never been there, but a coworker goes every year and raves about the fishing.  Granted, he fishes from the bank with live bait.  Reports say the lakes holds large bass and perch.  (and has been known to be home to a couple of alligators)  Fishing can be really good;  it can also be very slow.  Best time is early in the morning.  The campground and lake are very nice…it will be a good paddle.

Cost: $7 payable to the park upon entrance
