From Skip,
“The 2nd Annual Clarke Thornton San Marcos River Trip is still on for Saturday, September 24th, and l am leading it. This trip will again be hosted by Kevin Hutchison. Even though there was some sort of problem with the e-vite, as Puck stated, the trip is still a go and we have 8 signed up as of this writing. Camping arrangements have been made and will be availible for those who want to go up on Friday evening at Specer`s Canoe & Shady Grove Campground, our put in location. Look them up on the web athttp://www.spencercanoes.net or call them at (512) 357-6113 for additional information on rates or kayak rental. You MUST call them in advance. Tell them you are from TFF or with me and l warn you they can be hard to reach by phone at times. Kevin is providing a leader, a box of 12 of his personally tied flies,, a commemorative t-shirt and probably the best shore lunch you have ever been privy to. Anyone who is still interested on going on this trip should call me @ (713) 822-0069, no later than Thursday PM.”
