  1. If you are planning on staying down in Sargent, please let Mike G. or Michael Q know as bunk space is limited. Also, in your response, please advise if you; A) have a boat B) if so, how many passenger can you take or C) if you need a space on a boat. This is critical as space is even more limited!

    • I need a place to stay…bring boat to take people out to spot,,,to wade.need one more to have a full boat

      • Unless they find fish at the eastern end of the bay. I have heard that there are sheepshead near the mouth of the creek from one of my staff who has a house there.

  2. Pre-fished last week, water was crystal clear down at the south end. Fish were scarce but the clouds moved in on us and made visibility difficult. They were there , we just couldn’t see them. This outing always is super fun. Make sure you bring plenty of brown water!

  3. Though it looks like rain all week, the weekend should be fine. Because of the limited freshwater inflow into East Matty, the bay should still be in decent shape (keeping my fingers crossed)!

    • I will come anyway in case the water clears up…I can always turn around and come home…
