Let me know if there is one of us that does not have a kayak, or a boat to ride in.

I'm trying to get us all on the water, not just the shoreline.  And at least one of us will have an open spot, or a spare kayak.

Three of us went into the surf.  I haven't heard a report back from these guys yet.

At least one of your group went into Titlam-Tatlum Bayou. Nothing heard back from this leg either.

I fished with Russel all along the east side of Mud Island.  6 miles total traveled.  A lot of bait was working, but we could no interest any fish into biting.

Russell getting the hang of the Hobie Outback(R)

Ran into Matt and James and swapped stories as we waited for the tide to change.

James actually hooked into a shark, using bait.

One the tide changed the bait schooled back up, but nothing was working the pods of bait.  It was a great day on the water but the catching was a bit slow.  I did drag up one small jack using a 5wt, sinking line, and a char/white clouser .

I fished Saturday as well. Wish I could have met up with you guys. I did not know I was fishing till the night before (thought I was gonna go teal hunting.)

I fished with my dad along the north shore and Dana's. Even with the perfect condtions, I found very few fish. Dad chunked a plastic while I poled looking for fish. Plenty of bait. Found only one perfect tailer. After I gave dad the first 5 casts, I jumped down to wade over to her. No luck.  Dad discovered some reds a little deeper as he drifted away.  At least for West Galv., I am guessing they are still holding in about 3+ ft of water in the potholes.

Hopefully not for long!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone have their own theories???

Ready for October,

Puck gave an excellent block of instruction for operating the kayak.  No fish but had a great time on the water.
