Quick trip to Anuhuac, 2014-08-03

Raymond and I were on the water by 0830, only to find that the water was missing a key component, SALT.

Fished the dingy fresh water for a few hours with Raymond cathing a hardhead and a croker on the fly.  No shrimp in the area.  No crabs, and only a few gamefish, acording to the locals that were also fishing.

Off the water by 1500.

To fish, or not to fish?  What a stupid question!

At least you got out on the water. That's more than I can say. When are you going to post a snap shot of Raymonds catch and, the pattern he caught it on?

I was well prepared, by bringing fresh batteries for both the GPS and the waterproof camera.  The GPS worked fine the entire time we were on the water.  The camera, unfortunately, was still sitting by the PC, where I had downloaded the D7Ls pictures from last weekend.   :-[
