West Galveston Bay
« on: July 15, 2014, 07:15:30 AM »
Had a free day to run the Beavertail prior to the arrival of our next "bundle of joy". Hit marshes and sand/grass mix. Weather was perfect. Tide was lower than expected (was supposed to be high most of day). Reds were very shallow in the marsh. Some happy tailers and singles over the sand/grass. FishRelish spoonflies were the ticket. Cruised the bay looking for Tripletail or Jacks to no avail.

Looks like fun! next time you have a day between "bundles of joy" give me a call - maybe we can run tandem Beavertails!
Is that a strike indicator or a bobber?
