Hey y'all,

if you have a marine radio, boat mounted or hand-held, I encourage you to bring it. They make keeping in touch easier and adds a additional safety factor in case someone should get in trouble. Several of us are bringing ours, but if you have one, take it along. I've attached a photo of the type of handheld I'm taking about.

One of our TFF members is making a trade and I figured I had better warn you guys.

I'm tying up some secret recipe RFCs just for the One Fly.

To fish, or not to fish?  What a stupid question!

Aww hell y'all. My work weekend at the lease just got cancelled. I'm in. I'll be running my Gheenoe.

Signing up now. I'm actually heading down Thursday evening to fish Friday with Blyth and the gents from Reel Fly so I'll be staying on. Any room at the inn?

I need another boat really bad!!! Right now, I don't have spots on boats for Nicolas or Charles. If you have a boat and are thinking about coming down, please do!

Dan you can put a small guy (with a huge heart) on board the "gaynew" can't you?  Maybe we could switch Gary over your way and make room for one of the other guys on another boat. Leaving one extra guy needing a boat.  What say you...

Besides I always knew you'd see reason in my past reply concerning the hunting camp vs. fishing the One Fly. So no matter what everyone else thinks ...you're a pretty smart guy! :o

I'm happy to try and ferry another person around but full disclosure:
1) they'll have provide their own PFD as I do not have another adult-sized one
2) the Gheenoe is only 15'4" long and 44" wide (actually narrower at the gunnels than the waterline due to the tumblehome) so fishing 2 might be difficult
3) I'm still getting accustomed to the thing and want to be 100% safety concious

Hey ALL..
I suggest the cooking teams start to make their preparations for this upcoming weekend.

Friday Night - George S. (Master Chef), Mike F. (Sous Chef)., Dave G., (side dishes) Mike G. (appetizers) Don H. (table prep), Garland S., Matt B., & Jared F. (clean-up duties) Les L. & Alex B. (bar tending)
We are planning on 20+ for dinner guys.

Friday's Menu: $$$ Donations are welcomed and encouraged. $$$

Hot steaming juicy and spicy steaks, butter-drenched trimmed out bake potatoes, hot and fresh grilled veggies, and tossed green salad with fresh sourdough bread.

Friday's pre-fishers take note...I need at least two or three fresh redfish for the grilled appetizer and the salad. Please bring them already cleaned on the half shells and chilled.

To enhance your dining pleasure I am also contributing lots of chilled "Top Shelf" Mexican Beer. Coronas, Dos X's, and Modelos, so I want to hear lots of hoot'n and hollering south of the border style. Aiyeeeee yip, yip, regresin a su pais culo!

I will also be bringing a 105 Qt. cooler to help store food items, and a 90 Qt cooler to help store beer.
I will bring my spices of choice including Slap 'yo Mama (hot), some cooking utensils, tupperware...etc. Let’s talk soon.

Graham Cracker- you got your priorities backwards, the big cooler is for the beer and the smaller one is for the food. Geez, freaking amateurs.
