To make it fair for everyone needing lodging, once I determine the lodging costs, I will divide it up evenly and ask those who are staying with someone to pay the allocated amount. Of course, if you own a place and are graciously allowing someone to stay with you, we wouldn't ask anything of you.

I will be bringing flytying stuff down as well, so any last minute superduperdoublesecret flies could possibly be tied Friday night if necessary. I might even be able to be bribed (with the appropriate amount of livation beforehand of course) to tie a few if needed. ;)

Of course Willies law of "at 2 o'clock I went to bed with a 10 and at 10 o'clock woke up with a 2" will apply!

sidenote: I claim no responsibility as to the durability or effectiveness of any fly tied after 9 p.m.

Gosh Les - your offer to tie flies for people is pretty tempting, but... hey, wait a minute.... what if you're really trying to tie a really bogus fly for everyone, an thus sabotage their fishing and ensuring your victory as you fish one of your real secret flies???

I'm afraid I'd end up fishing with something like this:

Thanks for offering, but I think I'll tie my own!
Is that a strike indicator or a bobber?

Les,

May I please get you to post your address/directions to your place so that we all don't starve Friday?

Thanks!

Friday night dinner is at the end of Olive street. It is the house on the right with a brown roof. I do not know the actual street number, but it is basically Washington @ Olive st. Go towards the bay (East) from that intersection on Olive st. The driveway is kinda that yellowish/orangeish dirt/gravel, and it is the house on the right. There is a very overgrown lot in front of the house. On the left side of the driveway there is a little Mowdy scooter on a trailer.

Honestly, the best way to see where it is if that is not a good enough description is to go to Google earth and find that intersection. When you zoom in on it, you can see that there are only two choices at the end of Olive st. Left is a White roof house, and to the right is a brown roof house and that is the one. In the google earth pic that i get, you can actually see the little scooter by the driveway in the pic.

Golden,

You mis-identified that fly. That's a beendowni10inthesummerstuckinmyradiator fly.  It is usually fished with a "windshield splat bait" dropper or if you are fishing with Hank, a hopper dropper. It can be very productive with the right technique.

Just sayin

Man that sure looks nice. Don't think it would take me more than two casts before I would snag and rip that periscope (GoHo) off the front.  Good thing you are a better caster.

Nice ride.

With Joe signing up, we are pretty well full up as far as lodging & boats go.  Anyone still interested will need to find a boat/kayak. We may be able to put a person or two in the Pequod House for lodging. I have updated the boat/room spreadsheet. Please review.
