Confirmed! Will be a great event, and one to remember. Looking forward to light winds, favorable tides, and hungry redfish cruising well lit flats just looking for the right fly... i.e. mine. I'd tell you what fly that will be, but, well, you know...
Make sure you are all ready to:
•   Fish - yeah that should not be a problem!
•   Eat - Counting on John's famous paella... we still on Fluidos? I'm signing up to be on your cooking team!
•   Drink - There may be a few coolers and brown bottles around. You can nurse your hangover at Speedy Stop - like always, right?
•   Laugh - Bound to be some great stories to tell, about broken tips, running a skiff into the weeds, fish that got away, etc...
Can’t wait – let’s go fishing!

See you all there,
George

Just verifying that I have lodging and boat with Mike Q confirmed and Adam M not yet confirmed.  Dick P will let me know about his participation.  MartinW

I noticed that Mike Q, who previously confirmed lodging and boat with me is now fishing with someone else.  I don't have anyone confirmed at this point.   MartinW

Recon firming, what is address of accommodations. George, I'll purchase ingredients on the way down. all you need is a sharp kitchen knife and a frilly apron.

Martin,

Unless something has changed that I'm not aware of, I believe I'm still riding with you, especially in light of the fact that Don H can't make it.  Looking forward to it!

Hey John... I'll be ready to help!  have a pretty sharp filet knife, I'll rinse the redfish guts off of it before we get started. As for a frilly apron, I may need to borrow one of yours.  ;)

It appears that Skip and Mary Kay, as well as George and I will be fishing and I don't know who else.  Martin when are you going down? Same with John P. when are you coming down? If you plan on fishing Friday you make arrangements to meet you party. Please. Quigley will be riding down with me but as far as fishing he'll need to arrange that with Martin.

Alright Golden, time to post the rules.  They seemed to be pretty fluid when we talked on Saturday.  Need to get them on the able before tehy are 100% in your favor.

Alex, can you post info on the address for the condo's?

SCOTT:

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS DROP OFF YOUR TOURNAMENT FEE OF $200.00 PER PERSON WITH THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR (THAT WOULD BE ME) AND YOU'RE IN:-> SIMPLE.

THIS IS DIRECTLY FROM THE FRONT PAGE BUT YOU MIGHT HAVE MISSED IT.

Carefully choose your favorite fly and catch as many fish with it as you can.  No fair changing fly, adding sweetner, or re-tying the fly.  Once it breaks off or falls apart your done!  You can re-glue if necessary.  Winner is contestant who amasses the most total inches of GAMEFISH using his ONE FLY.

Game fish do not mean poogies, hardheads, sting rays, ridley turtles, spotted owls you get what I mean.

Redfish, speckled trout, sand trout, tarpon, jacks, flounder, gaff top (they are actually a gamefish) black drum, mangrove snapper or for that matter any snapper, spanish mackerel, king fish, I think you see what I mean. Take out a tape measure and measure from tip of mouth to tip of squeezed tail. Total inches accumulated during the days fishing goes onto your score card and it must be verified by you partner signature. It is best if we all fish in teams of 2 to 3. You must stop fishing by 4:00 PM check in is at 5:00 PM. late check in will be cause for disqualification.  However the Tournament Committee has the final word.  Mike G., John P., Alex B., and Mike Q. Winner will be awarded the crystal trophy for a period of one year and will not have to buy his beer or food for the rest of the night! 8)
