Wendell B. is out due to a sholder dislocation.  So we lost another boat.  If you have not comunicated with your boat captain and confirmed with him please do so asap.  We do not want to get to the boat ramp and be figuring out we dont have enought seats.  Please do your best on getting with the other boat owners to get yourself on a boat.  Right now I have 1 empty seat on my boat but will not be filling as it will be the 'just in case' spot.  See everyone at the boat ramp on the ICW bright and early saturday morning.

I have room for 2 fisherman on my boat.

Also for the other boat drivers, if you are coming down Friday and want to get your boat in the water I have room for three boats to tie up at our docks just down the road from Alan's house.

PM or call me at 281-782-2751
I am headed down in the morning and phone reception isn't the best down there. If you can't catch me tomorrow I will come by Alan's tomorrow evening.

Golden talked to Wendell and it looks like he's 50/50 about being able to attend. Besides, he only needs one good arm to drive his boat!!  ;D

The water was murky. The weather was perfect. The fish were all on Weight Watchers..... :(

Scott Breedlove caught the only reported fish, a nice 27" redfish.

Can't thank Alan enough for hosting the gang of reprobates that showed up on his doorstep! Also, a special thanks to Jack for hauling my big behind around the bay. Gotta work on my poling technique so he can fish more!

From the look of things, many adult malt beverages gallantly laid down their lives for the entertainment of all!

What a day eh boys?

One fish from 10 anglers?

Anyone looking forward to the Sunfish Spectacular or perhaps some liquor?

Mike Q, dont forget about the 2" Flounder Klinger snagged.

How could I forget the flounder!? Or the softball sized ball of oysters I reeled in!

Perhaps we can book Friday night's musical performers for our next outing......

It was a great time guys. I learned a few lessons from this trip:
 Sheepshead hate pretty weather
Don't wade through a mudboil because you can't catch a fish in it, you might not like what runs out.
Jack is the most talented flyfisherman on the coast with his 2" flounder, seriously how many people can get a 2" flounder to eat a number 6 hook?

Had a great time guys as always when we get to do this outing :-)  the weather was awsome but fish didnt get the memo..  Next year I propose to have it earlier in the year while its still cold and try and sit back and select a weekend with a good weather window between cold fronts.
