Wow...

Dan, John, Travis, Don, Mike Q, Denis, Mike G. all of is kayaks man watch out for the high tides.

Yes that is the Marina I am talking about but it has changed names.  It is a young guy and his wife who run it now...good people too. I dibs Brown and Root.  It has miles of sand flats without a shell one and you can wade all day barefooted! Real good area for drum and sheepshead, besides my old buddy Mr. REDFISH! Are any of you going to get a room?

Let's get a caravan going. I will see if my nephew will join us.

What is everyone thinking about for lodging?

I've had a change of plans.  My wife has girlfriends coming over Friday.  I am looking to escape, so am now looking for a place to stay Friday and Saturday Night.  Only fishing saturday, but want to make a FULL day of it.

Puck call Mike Q. about a place to stay. I will want to meet everyone that can be there at Swan Point around 4:00PM  But I know that is hard to do. So Take Phone Numbers from the sign in sheet with each other and lets get in contact Friday night maybe over at Phil's place in Fulton.

Weather and water should be in good condition.  Hitting the water early and taking out early too.  If you want to meet up keep in touch.  Maybe fishing in early evening too. We'll see

I am arriving at the launch point between 6:30 & 7:00 Saturday morning and fish LHL.
I am bring a Game Warden's son to fish with me, he is 13 years old and I have permission
from his Dad to fish with me. He will be fishing conventional tackle, while I fly fishing.

This will be Taylor's second kayak trip ever. A few weeks ago I took him on his first trip
and he caught his first red (25") from a yak. I am hoping to get him intrested in fly fishing.

PS If there is a isseu with the Club rules Taylor & I will fish & not be part of the outing.

Can't imagine anyone objecting to you bringing a guest! Good on you for inviting the young man along! Need more young folks with fishing rods and less sitting on their rear ends watching "The Kardashians"

Sorry Guys for not making the trip...my work just didn't allow for it! :-X

I just got a call from John P. out on the water (9:30 am Sat morning) and he in the last hour has landed three slot redfish and had to hang up on me because he spotted two more coming right at him!  NICE.

He told me the guys met up at Swan Point Friday evening and watched a few videos to get their blood pumping.  Thanks to Dave Heyward and his great staff at Swan Point Outfitters.  Everybody has shown up in good order. Be safe and have a great day.  I'll catch up next time.

Thanks to Phil and Pam S. for letting our fishing "hobos" crash at their place.

Scrubbed Lighthouse Lakes when we saw how low the water was, so we actually fished Brown and Roots flats.

I'll give a better report later.

Fishing was small pods, and very scattered.  We saw more in the early morning, just after sunrise, and then the wind picked up, and the sighting was slower.

Thanks Puck!  My only question was how did Mike Q. talk that LADYFISH into biting his fly?
