I'm signed up! Looks like calendar has cleared (okay, I forced a couple of things) and I'm looking forward to it. Years ago I would fish that shoreline pretty frequently in October, and it can be great. Fished a little further South, near Hodges Reef, and often found clear water and lots of fish.

The weather forecast for next Saturday, which we all now to be absolutely accurate, shows clear, 77 degrees, and NE winds 5-10 mph. Can't get any better than that!

So... let's go fishing!

George
Is that a strike indicator or a bobber?

Latest Saturday forecast:  A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76.

I am once again setting up "Finder" for this weekend's trip.

Those of you that have signed up will be getting a test message later in the week.

On a side note: How about lunch at one of the islands?

Might be fun.  Can the club spring for something?

I hope the weather holds out.  Also, any thoughts on how runoff from the Trinity will affect things?

If they opened the gates at Livingston we could have more fresh water that salt.  I'll ask Rene D. if he can check the salt content.

If we can get some information by Thursday, we can talk about it at Orvis & I'll make a go/no go decision then and post it here.  No sense in having people drive over there for bad conditions.
