Puck:
I plan to bring hot dogs and a grill along with chips, for lunch, to share.

Bring your drinks, and we can meet up at the top of the hill for lunch at noon.

Puck:
Waiting for sunrise.  The only lights were from the generation facility.  I sat on a rock waiting until I could safely see to cast.  I did try a couple of half-hearted casts in the dark, when I heard some feeding.

As the sun started trying to rise, I was able to see just a little more.  About this time is when I hooked the first LMB, a Kentucky.

Yes, the LMB wanted a topwater.  This was a S1B that you see hanging out of the mouth.  I caught a dozen of these, and at least 2 dozen sunfish, bluegill, and yellow sunfish making up the best part of the catch.

Some of the LMBs that I caught were so full of these that they were spitting them up as the fought at the end on my line.

Once the sun started shining the river lit up.  There was bait all over, but the bass were concentrating on the shad.  There would be a blitz, and then they would move.  And trust me, a kickboat is not the watercraft to use to get in front of a blitz.

Around noon I realized that nobody else from TFF was going to be on the water, and the fishing had slowed down, so I packed up and started back to Houston, only to find that it had rained all day in our home town, but not a drop where I was.

NOBODY SHOWED UP??????????? GUESS IT WAS BECAUSE IT WAS COLUMBUS DAY WEEKEND!

MY EXPERIENCE WITH OUR MEMBERS IS THAT ONE SHOULD ALWAYS CONFIRM YOUR ATTENDEES. TOO MANY OF THEM FORGET THEIR NAMES MUCH LESS THEY HAVE COMMITTED TO AN OUTING DATE.

YOU CANT JUST DEPEND ON THEM SHOWING UP ON THEIR OWN PER CONVERSATION WITH GEORGE S AT LAST BOARD MEETING. WERE YOU THERE?

BY THE WAY ...AS ALWAYS PUCK THANKS FOR DEDICATING YOUR TIME TO HELP TFF. <*)))>{
