It doesn't look good for the freshwater guys as only one person has signed up.  Sportsmedguy is welcome to join the salts down at the pocket. I still might go.  Where is John P. and the other yakers????

If the date it still the 25th I should be able to go... still shifting calendars a bit but I'm at 80% probability. I've not fished the Bolivar Pocket before, it sounds interesting.

Do stingray leggings work for blacktip sharks?   :-\

Once I can confidently confirm I'll sign up...

Is that a strike indicator or a bobber?

I'm trying to work this trip in.

As soon as I'm sure, I'll sign up.  (90% probable right now)

I will have an extra kayak that I can loan,

To fish, or not to fish?  What a stupid question!

Taking a cue from some of the old salts I have talked to and articles I have read, you want to do everything you can to NOT look like something to eat.

While fishing or swimming in the surf do not wear white or light colored shoes. These can look like the belly of a fish, something to eat. Do not wade in shorts, wear pants netural in color, kahki in tone. The calves of your legs can again look like something to eat. Also do not wear anything that will 'flash' underwater.

If you have blood coming from any part of your body, DO NOT go into the water.

Aww, the sharks in the pocket are wee little nippers. They won't do more than give you a little love-bite.  ;)

But, that's why I'll be in my kayak.  ;D

Speaking of sharks - Be sure to print your TFF release and your Will!

Looks like a good falling tide for most of the day.

Let's meet on Rettilon Rd by the beach. I know several of us are concerned about sinking our vehicles in the sand. We will have a wind forcast tomorrow.

Don't forget to bring plenty of fluids, sunscreen and a change of clothes. We will probably try and find a bite to eat afterwards.
