fishing at D7L on Nov. 3
« on: November 04, 2012, 02:59:55 PM »
Yesterday, I went down to Damon Seven Lakes to fish with the estimable Michael J Arnold as my guide. At his insistence, I tied on an orange crazy critter that I had tied the day before. Fishing was slow, but I finally got a hook up right before encroaching lightning shut us down. All in all, not a bad day.

JERRY,

THE LARGEST BASS YOU HAVE EVER CAUGHT. 6.5 LBS. IS A SPECIAL DAY.... I THINK IT IS THE ONE DR. ED LOST THE DAY BEFORE WITH MARK MARMON.

yes, and it happened two days after I turned 66.  It's good to know there is still life left in the old dog.
