Have we a plan for who's riding with who this time round? Is the plan to camp at the state park Friday night as we did last year?

We don't have a ride plan yet.  From what I know, so far, is that so far we have no shortage of 4WDs.  As we get closer, we'll know more.

Who needs a ride?  Post up!

The plan this year is to meet up at Malaquite Visitor's Center Friday afternoon, and head down toward the jetties Friday night.  This should give us one more full day of fishing.

On the scouting trip last weekend, we found that there were more fish, for a fly rod, between mile markers (mm) 40-60.  I expect that to be the same for next weekend.

I can't leave town till after work on Friday.  Need to talk about how I meet up with the group, when and where.

I will need a ride!

I have kept my Friday schedule relatively free so let me know what time you plan on being at the visitors center and I will meet you there.

Cheers
Matt

Wish I could make this one but I just got back from NASCARolina seeing my brother and family.  Need to get to work on moving one daughter out and then moving the other one in!!!! Won't be able to fish until sometime in October.  Hopefully I will get to attend the Redfish Rodeo.  Anybody need a roof!

Matt,

We will make sure you get downrange, even if I have to strap you to the roof.

Would love to go, but we are celebrating my dad's 77th birthday this weekend. Don't know how many more he is gonna have, so I'd better make the most out of the ones he does have.

Dude this is going to be so good.  I have read several post else where stating the fishing down the PINS is so awesome right now...Also could the weather be any better.  Some of you long timers on the PINS trip have earned good weather so enjoy.  Do take some good photos maybe we can talk Puck into doing a show and tell. I think the statement of strapping Matt to the truck is what he did last year...i think he has earned a seat this time. As long as he has at least a cooler full of larger and peppered beef jerky!

The surf looks perfect - as do the temperatures.  I dont mind riding on the roof of a truck, but as I am english it might be a cooler full of ale and cucumber sandwiches..will that work?

Kiding - I will be making a praseks stop of the way down (sorry George) and stocking up on peppered venison jerky.

Current plan is for me to meet up with Scott and then track the rest of you guys down on the beach, hopefully before it gets too dark. I plan on using Puck's voice as a homing beacon.

"Finder" is working on the website link.  I tested it a BPS this morning.  Go see for yourself.

I've set up the folks listed for the trip to recieve updates via their CPs, and for the airchair gallery to be able to follow along on the link as we make progress.

I am so jealous the weather outside is picture perfect for the PINS trip.  I can hear Puck (and who can't) yelling FISH ON right now.  Way to go fellas...er and lady.
