For those of you following the attempts to build one of the world's largest strip mines in the headwaters of the Bristol Bay watershed in Alaska, and the outdoor communities attempts to stop it, the EPA will be holding two webinars to outline the results of their environmental assessment of the mines potential impact. Details below. Times listed are pacific time.You are welcome to attend a webinar for an overview of the draft Bristol Bay Watershed Assessment. This overview was presented at the public meetings held in Anchorage, Dillingham, Seattle and other Bristol Bay communities in June. This is a good opportunity if you were not able to attend a meeting, or if you are still drafting comments on the assessment.
