Any count on where folks are staying?  I'll probably get a site at the park. Anyone else interested in this option?

Puck, I signed up Bill Wissen. He was my buddy that made the trip with us a couple of years ago. We are both anxious to go. You got anymore of those little black magic bugs of yours? I'll buy a doz. from ya. Kelley.

I've got 'em.

I have a site booked in the "Electric Area," meaning that we can plug in a fan.

Puck, We had a guy camped next to us last weekend at Galveston Island State Park who had a small window unit plumbed into his tent. He said it made a world of difference sleeping at night. Might be worth a try.

Puck,  So can I share your camp site?  I have a small tent.

I may need to look at a plan B.  The truck is being worked on and I am not certain it will be ready on Friday afternoon.  Don't think the kayak and my Mini Cooper are compatible.

Anyone able to haul along another kayak?  I live in the Katy area.

Shoot me a PM and let me know.  I am exploring options right now.

Thanks,
Scott B

Saturday morning we will meet at the livery at 0700.

Our plan is to shuttle up, and be on the water NLT 0730.

Puck,

What time you getting to the park. You want me to pick a site if I get there first?  You have a favorite site?

Puck's site needs to be nearest the Port a Potty;D

Who's bringing the snake bite kit!
On a serious note, much of the river has a limestone bottom and you need to protect your feet and legs from abrasions when ever possible.
Has anybody looked up the flow rates.  Llano river in Llano is flowing at 69 cfs that's better than last year as I remember.

Have fun!

We had water, but not too much.   Report, and pictures to follow.
