This is actually a late report - our trip was early August - but wanted to post a few pics of the trip - and learn how to insert images into a post.  Thanks Dave & Puck for the tips. I guess I'll see whether I did it right once I hit POST.

We fished two days and had tough conditions - wind was 25mph+ - water was muddy in most areas without heavy grass. Locals reported that salinity was high in the bay due to lack of rain and reds were hard to find.  We did see some reds while working our way around behind spoil bank #1, but never got any shots as we did not spot them until they spooked within a few feet of the boat.

I was using a grass shrimp fly the guide provided that I had not seen before - didn't catch anything on it, but it looked good and rode well over the heavy grass. I should have asked him for one as I would like to tie a few.

At any rate, this was Johnathan's first real fishing trip in the salt - so we tried "other fishing methods" and managed to catch quite a few trout. Spent most of the time fishing pot holes in Steadmans which is where we caught most of our fish.

Here's one of Johnathan hooking up at sun rise

And one more of a beautiful 27" trout he landed. I'm not sure if that's a blessing or a curse.
