Fly Fishing Gear / 2009 Hobie Revolution 13 for sale...$1,400
« Last post by Puck on October 04, 2015, 04:08:12 PM »
It has come time for me to part ways with a reliable old friend.

My 2009 yellow Hobie Revolution Mirage Drive kayak needs to find a new home.

Here is what she comes with:
Mirage drive with Turbo ST Fins
Oversized rudder (old one goes with it)
Retrofitted to V0 drive, stainless steel parts, not composite or aluminum
Hobie paddle
Hobie seat with back pouch
Sea Tug cart with original straps
Scotty mounts, 2 on front, one in center rear
Scotty baitcaster rod holder
Scotty fly rod holder

$2,300 base price for kayak
$100 for Sea Tug cart
$150 for Turbo fins and sailing rudder upgrade
$50 for Scotty mounts, etc  (forgot this one on the WordPress)
---------------------------
$2,600 original investment

She had a patch a few years ago, but does not leak, no matter how scarred her bottom looks.

I'll leave this up for a week, and then try to sell it elsewhere.

Here are some photos...

I'd love to go out and try and get my first redfish on fly in the new kayak.  I'll have to see if I can make this work...will update my post later today if I can make it for sure.

What dose a person need to do to win the grand prize?  Catch a grand slam, larges red.
The grand  prize winning qualification needs to be identified.

Hey y’all, I just received an awesome grand prize for the Redfish Rodeo, compliments of Fishing Tackle Unlimited and Marcos Enriquez, a 9′ 8 wt Sage Salt fly rod! That’s about an $800-$850 retail rod and one helluva stick. I ought to know. I have one.

You can’t win it if you don’t sign up and fish!!
