I am moving this date to the 26th. I know is is the same day as the deal at Bridgewater (?), but it really isn't feasible to have it so close to the Christmas Bay outing. The 19th would have been fine, but it's Easter weekend.
Please let me know how many are interested in lodging. Nancy Lappin has a line on some houses down there for a good price.
How many are interested in doing an overnight down there? We might do some recon work for Reel Recovery as they may want to have a retreat there. I need to know fairly quickly so I can reserve a place.
Well, I am happy to report that quite a few of the escaped convicts were rounded up. The head marshal down that way, Alan Kulcak lead the way with 11 (!). I know Golden rounded up about 5 or 6 and several others caught fish as well. By all accounts, it was a successful journey, despite the 15-20 mph wind and the two hour wait for supper on Friday. Big time thanks to Alan Kulcak & Bill Wallace for allowing us to stay with them. Thanks to Golden for his help and a special thanks to all the boat captains for graciously allowing their fellow club members as guests on their boats.
Please take a look at the Christmas Bay outing scheduled for the 28th of this month.
