Just an FYI: I cannot do it Saturday the 18th as it's Tracy's birthday and I'll get scalped if I even think about going fishing......

Let's meet at the the end of Rettilon Rd. There is beach access there. It is a popular spot, which mean it may be popular with dishonest folks. Be prudent with what you leave in your vehicles.

As I said, if the winds don't co-operate (e.g. out of the East), we can fish the backside of the peninsula, which s/b a bit more protected.

I talked to Marcos today and based on what he has heard, he suggested that we hit the Bolivar pocket near the North jetty. This would allow both kayaks & wading If the wind is not what want, we can slip over to the other side of the peninsula and fish Sievers Cut.  I am going to go with August 25th.

I know that there's a fair bit of interest in Fence lake, but I'd like to do that with a little more notice than a couple of weeks. We might hit that later in the Fall.

What is everyone's thoughts?

Please sign up if you are planning to attend the POC One Fly. We need to get a headcount so that we can match boats & people. We REALLY need people with boats!!

I have made reservations at the Pequod House . I also have Kelley Hazen down for a spot there.  We have room for about 3 more people. It's nothing fancy, but it's inexpensive and comfortable. Contact me directly if interested.
