OK gang, I am pulling this one together now. I need people with boats (as usual). We will be staying at a beachhouse down in Sargent. This is a test run to check out the accommodations for a Reel Recovery retreat to he held later in the year. There will be a cost to cover the lodging. I will have that posted within the next 24 hrs as well as directions.  This can be fished with a kayak in the canals & creek, but I strongly recommend a boat. The boats & lodging will be assigned in order of signup.

A little better this morning:

Mostly sunny, with a high near 75. North wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph

Saturday is looking a little dubious. North winds 15-20 with gusts to 25.  Thoughts?

Does the Katy Navy want to carpool?  More importantly, Puck, do you have a spare on your trailer?

Thanks Puck. I hated to walk on your event.  Appreciate the understanding.

Updated as of June 10th.

I am moving this date to the 26th. I know is is the same day as the deal at Bridgewater (?), but it really isn't feasible to have it so close to the Christmas Bay outing. The 19th would have been fine, but it's Easter weekend.

Please let me know how many are interested in lodging. Nancy Lappin has a line on some houses down there for a good price.

How many are interested in doing an overnight down there? We might do some recon work for Reel Recovery as they may want to have a retreat  there. I need to know fairly quickly so I can reserve a place.

I really am disappointed I couldn't make it last night.

That's the great thing about TFF, you might not catch anything every time out, but you are pretty much guaranteed a good time. Thanks to all the guys who make that possible!

I'm hoping I can still make this trip with my boat, but I may have an old friend from out of state coming into town that weekend.

It's always a pleasure to have you join us, Don. Thank YOU for bringing down your boat.  Looking forward to the next one.  8)
