I will tentatively lead this one. We need to see about coordinating with the Louisiana marsh trip. The outings will be the 15th & 22nd of November. Just depends on stocking, schedules, etc.

I really wish I was going to be there, but the boss says I have to meet her in Indianapolis that weekend.  You'll be in good hands with Puck!

Stopped by Swan Point last week and talked to Dave. He's looking forward to having us on that Friday. The Hell's Bay Owners are also have a soirĂ©e that weekend, so we may make some new friends that weekend.  I'll begin cranking things up this weekend, once I send Tracy to Indy for two weeks.

Looking forward to this one!

Hey folks,

Now that we survived the POC1F, it's time for this month's outing. Come on and sign up!  8)

I think it's safe to say that those who attended had a great time!. Still some debate as to the winner between Golden & John C. Heck, I think we all won on this outing!

Seems like the fish were a bit finicky this time out. Our boat saw some really nice fish, but couldn't really get them to eat.  It was a little windy out, but we managed.

I would like to thank everyone for their help. Every single person there pitched in to make it a great outing! Thanks to our cooking teams, boat owners and a special thanks to Les and his family for allowing us to invade his place!

Next up, Bolivar Marsh in August. Keeping it simple next month. I need a rest and to get ready for the Redfish Rodeo!

The date, August 16th is on the first post of the thread. It's just above the sign-up link.

With the last minute drops, I have shuffled boat assignments around a bit. The file on page one has been updated. I will double check housing this evening and alter as necessary. I also have a spreadsheet that I'm working up to show what people owe for lodging & Friday's meal. Those in real beds will pay a bit more than those on cots. As Mary Kay and Skip have dropped, I am taking the bed they reserved. I will pay an additional premium for that.  With my leg pain, it's worth it!

We are asking everyone to pay into the lodging fund except for Martin W, John P, John S, Mike G. & Les L who are hosting people at their trailer/home.

Friday night's meal s/b about $20. Lodging for both night will be around $40-$45 if you have a bed and $25-$30 for a cot. I have to calculate the numbers and will keep you posted.

I can't thank everyone enough for all your help in pulling this together! Maybe if we sacrifice Golden's old scooter to the fish gods, we will catch some serious fish this weekend!!! :P

I would like to thank everyone for helping to make this a great time. I have sent out an email requesting feedback on lodging and dining. Please get those back to us ASAP!

Thanks for all y'all's help.

Boat & lodging list on page 1 is updated through 7PM Saturday.

Yes. We do have those on occasion.

Insulting his "Alternate Lifestyle Watercraft" is probably not going to encourage him!  :o LOL!

I need another boat really bad!!! Right now, I don't have spots on boats for Nicolas or Charles. If you have a boat and are thinking about coming down, please do!

Hey y'all,

if you have a marine radio, boat mounted or hand-held, I encourage you to bring it. They make keeping in touch easier and adds a additional safety factor in case someone should get in trouble. Several of us are bringing ours, but if you have one, take it along. I've attached a photo of the type of handheld I'm taking about.

With Joe signing up, we are pretty well full up as far as lodging & boats go.  Anyone still interested will need to find a boat/kayak. We may be able to put a person or two in the Pequod House for lodging. I have updated the boat/room spreadsheet. Please review.
