Insulting his "Alternate Lifestyle Watercraft" is probably not going to encourage him!  :o LOL!

I need another boat really bad!!! Right now, I don't have spots on boats for Nicolas or Charles. If you have a boat and are thinking about coming down, please do!

Hey y'all,

if you have a marine radio, boat mounted or hand-held, I encourage you to bring it. They make keeping in touch easier and adds a additional safety factor in case someone should get in trouble. Several of us are bringing ours, but if you have one, take it along. I've attached a photo of the type of handheld I'm taking about.

With Joe signing up, we are pretty well full up as far as lodging & boats go.  Anyone still interested will need to find a boat/kayak. We may be able to put a person or two in the Pequod House for lodging. I have updated the boat/room spreadsheet. Please review.

If you don't know where the Rabe House is:

The Pequod House is:

I made one minor update to the boat assignments. Gary is with Martin & Matt is with Les.

I think posting the date & details clearly on the lead post will help. I know it's on the title. Also, sending out some emails wouldn't be a bad idea. Get Golden, our publicity director to do an email blast.

I might be up for the trip and I may talk Tracy into it as well. Need to know where exactly on the river we are fishing.

May I please get you to post your address/directions to your place so that we all don't starve Friday?

To make it fair for everyone needing lodging, once I determine the lodging costs, I will divide it up evenly and ask those who are staying with someone to pay the allocated amount. Of course, if you own a place and are graciously allowing someone to stay with you, we wouldn't ask anything of you.

That's great Les. Thank you for your offer. We will take up up on it.

The first round of boat/room assignments are up. We are full at Rabe House and are filling up over at Pequod House. I am in dire need of boats!!

Hello all,

I will have the first update with boat assignments & lodging posted this weekend. If you have a boat and are bringing it, please let me know if you have open space and /or who is riding with you. If you have a boat and haven't signed up yet, good Lord! What are you waiting for?!?!  :o

Big thanks to George, John and the people helping them put on the culinary exposition!

Dennis A.
Andrew B.
Travis R.
Matt B.  (the Brit)

Signed up but cancelled

Chris S.
Bob S
Matt B (the Okie)
Thomas P

Signed up in error

Les L.

So, it looks like we have our 10 guys. Please don't forget the $25 and waiver forms on Sat morning!

Looks like we should have a great time. Be sure to bring plenty of fluids. If you want beer/cokes for the ride back on the Skimmer, bring it and have Capt Tommy ice is down for you.

Call me if something is up.

Everyone on the list should have received an email from me this morning.  Of those signed up, Bob S & Chris S have dropped. Please let me know your status so that I may get a head count & see if someone else is interested in a spot on the Skimmer.

Crap, Don. Of course I would have called. Didn't realize that you'd be interested in driving all the way up to the NW side to fish the bayou. I'll definitely may sure to let you know next time.

Tracy doesn't have a kayak, so I'll be walking the banks. Might bring my hip boots though.
