I just spoke with Don and the bayou is currently out of its banks and blown out. I'm hoping that by next weekend, things will have returned to normal. We don't have any rain forecast, so that should help. We will keep everyone posted and likely call it yea or nay by Thursday. I'm betting things will be fine, but I just want to keep folks apprised of what's going on.
Well, those of us who came had a good time. Fishing was slow, but the weather was gorgeous. GRTU stocked fish throughout the morning, but they were still in shock and not apt to bite. I caught an 18" female on a bead-head zebra nymph and Paul caught two small fish, but on different flies than he started with. I don't know how Travis did, but if I have to name a winner of the one-fly, I guess it was me.
