We have a volunteer to lead this trip.

The person that volunteered to lead this trip now has a work conflict.

Do we have another volunteer?

Puck

Due to lack of response I propose that we cancel this trip, for this year.

September is coming!

I'm trying to work this trip in.

As soon as I'm sure, I'll sign up.  (90% probable right now)

I will have an extra kayak that I can loan,

Damon's Seven Lakes / 2012-08-11 report
« on: August 13, 2012, 09:23:36 AM »
Took Lilly fishing with me on saturday.  The only lake that I could get a topwater bite, on a yellow spider, on was Martin.

We fished for about 3 hours, and caught 4 mid-sized bass, and a dozen bluegill that went over 1/2 a pound each.

Russel was having the same kind of luck, but was using a PGPP.

No pictures, this time.

I'm going to try to make this one - its been too many years since I did a PINS trip.  I have a 4X4 and will be driving.

Nilo and I are already trying to get stuff together for this one!

I tried Green's Lake on Friday, the water was very off-color.  NO fish, but plenty of bait.

Damon's Seven Lakes / 2012-06-23 at Duck Lake

I fished the deeper water on Duck Lake from the canoe and wound up catching 14 decent panfish, with a bunch of "dinks" thrown in for sport.  The bluegill and redear want a squirrely slow and deep.

2 people have sent in pictures so far.

I know I saw more cameras on this trip.

Let's get those photos to our Webmaster.

Date is now locked in.  We will avoid the Sharkathon by going this weekend.

This trip is coming together well.

The only piece missing is the exact date of "Shark-O-Thon" at PINS.

Sharkathon is now 28-30 September, making the date of the 28th the set date for this trip.

So when does this report and pictures follow.  We are all waiting.  What was caught, by whom, who got bit, by whom, was was eaten, by whom, what was consumed, by whom, who crawled into the wrong tent early in the morning...you know the usual stuff! TALK

We had swimmers, broken rods, and a lot of fish caught.  No snake bites, and no injuries.

I have pictures I am working on, and the report will be along shortly.

13 folks were at the dinner table Friday night at Izzaak's.  More details to follow.
