Damon's Seven Lakes / Quick afternoon trip to D7Ls
« on: April 20, 2014, 08:34:43 AM »
Tracy M. and Mike Q. came over and we took Lilly to D7Ls for an afternoon of fishing.

Tracy was the winner of the drawing for the flies at the JSSFS, and Mike A. was there to give them to her.

The fishing was slow but the weather was absolutely perfect.

Here is a photo of Lilly helping Tracy land a nice bluegill.

Do we cancel?

Or is there somebody else willing to lead?  I am committed to Nilo that weekend.

Last night after work.

The part of this story that nobody has mentioned yet is one of us loosing his balance in the front of the raft and going for a fully immersed swim.

The fly rod never left his hand, and it never touched the water.  Yes there are 2 witnesses to that fact.

Lilly and I took a stroll around the ponds, me with a fly rod in my hands.

4 LMB, over 20 BG, and this fellow.  Poor picture because Lilly get trying to get a bite of him.

I have my opinion, but I'd like to here what others have to say.

No longer do we have a cabin.

We now have 2 cabins and one campsite!

8 more A/C places are still open as of today, 2014-04-12.

Take a look at the map, and information provided by TPWD.

And I've marked where we took out and took out.

I don't show the campsites, or where we caught fish.  That would be up to Brent and his team at ReelFly Fishing Adventures.;)
